A hot food van is now (Jan 2013) permanently parked in Abbey Street on the approach to the Toucan crossing across Newmarket Road, taking up more than half of the width of the road and forcing cyclists using this busy cycle route to ride underneath the open hatch cover. Customers being served food will also be forced to obstruct the cycle route.
